Established in 2012, A to Z Dental is proudly Western Australian owned and operated. A to Z Dental is also fully Practice Accredited.

Our Principal Dentist is Dr Amanda Tan, who is a current member of the Australian Dental Association. Dr Amanda is also an Academic Staff member at Curtin University (School of Nursing, Oral Health Therapy).

Our team also includes Ms Kiara Buurman, our Oral Health Therapist, who has been a member of staff since 2020.



We are able to provide translation services for Spanish, Mandarin (as well as Cantonese, Hokkien, Teo Chew, Hakka) Dzongkha, Hindi, Indonesian and Malay depending on availability of staff. It is always best to bring your own translator if you have difficulties communicating in English.

With many years of combined experience, the A to Z Dental team is committed to being flexible, approachable and understanding when it comes to providing you with excellent care and improving your overall dental health.

Our friendly support staff aim to give you an environment that is calm, relaxed and comfortable. Our dental team can provide a female only environment in treatment rooms.

We offer the following services:

 

When it comes to planning treatment, we will listen to what you want and consider your financial limitations, if any. We will discuss your treatment options including what is in involved, and potential costs. We are happy to answer any questions you have to put your mind at ease. We can then come up with an individualised treatment plan tailored exclusively to you.

We offer HICAPS onsite and claim directly from your private health provider, so you only need to pay the gap on the day.
We accept all health funds including HBF, BUPA, HCF, NIB, CBHS, AHM, Medibank Private, GMHBA, Australian Unity, and Defence Health.

We are pleased to offer afterpay to new and existing afterpay users.

 

A to Z Dental offers you environmentally considerate treatment by being fully digitally integrated with minimal paper usage, making our carbon footprint much smaller. We offer digital x-ray which reduces time and amount of radiation exposure to you. We do not use amalgam on premises (fillings containing mercury).

 


Late Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy

We reserve the right to charge a late cancellation/missed appointment fee of $50.00 at our discretion. This fee is charged to cover the cost of the dentist’s time.

 

We usually charge a missed appointment fee for one of the following reasons:

  1. The patient is late by more than 15 minutes
  2. The patient has failed to attend a scheduled appointment
  3. The patient has cancelled within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment

 

It is important to let us know if you can’t make it as allows your scheduled time to be available to someone who may need it. Please let us know ahead of time if you know you can’t make it for whatever reason, and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

 


Booking Fee Policy

We reserve the right to collect a non-refundable $150 to $300 deposit to hold an appointment. The deposit will be used towards your scheduled appointment. It will be forfeited if your appointment is cancelled for any reason.

We collect deposits by direct transfer via ABN PayID (48161468248) within 48 hours of our SMS request of deposit. PayID transfer is safe and easy through your bank app.

Any unused deposit funds will be refunded at the end of your appointment by PayID bank transfer. It can also be kept in credit on your account if you prefer.

We strive our utmost to ensure patient satisfaction. Should you have a complaint you may address the Practice Manager in writing or by email.
